Project Description:

We re-launched the Meridian Weekly website about 16 months ago. There were a number of difficult things to overcome, but it’s live. Also created facebook and twitter accounts for them to begin using.

The Weekly is published in Ovid Michigan by a small staff and is living proof that print not only isn’t dead, it lives in small and almost unnoticed segments in our society. It’s just not what we think that it is, or rather what our idea of it was.

The Meridian Weekly mostly wanted a means in which to publish .pdf versions of their newspaper to it’s many, many ex-patriot residents scattered across the world.

Using the website as a launch platform, they are slowly and surely expanding their reach, social network, and value as a local advertisement platform
